From its inception, the FBI has functioned as a weapon of repression and violence against African and oppressed peoples and their movements for liberation.
This webinar will expose the history of the FBI as an instrument of colonial counter-insurgency, from its role in the destruction of the Garvey Movement to COINTELPRO, MLK, Malcolm X, the Black Panther Party and continuing today with the FBI raids and attacks on Chairman Omali Yeshitela and the Uhuru Movement.
Join this important discussion with Penny Hess, Chair of the African People's Solidarity Committee and Jesse Nevel, Chair of Uhuru Solidarity Movement, working in the white community for reparations to African people, under the leadership of the African People's Socialist Party. Both speakers have been targeted by the FBI as "un-indicted co-conspirators" with Chairman Omali Yeshitela on bogus charges of being "illegal Russian agents."
APSC was formed by the African People's Socialist Party, as part of the strategy to break the isolation imposed on the African Revolution by the counterinsurgency and to extend the struggle for Black Power "behind enemy lines" into the white colonizer population.
