On March 11-12, 2023, the Uhuru Solidarity Movement National Conference, “White People, Say NO to FBI War on Black Liberation,” will feature a presentation by Nancy Mansour, co-founder of Existence is Resistance, a New York-based organization that builds support for Palestinian resistance and self-determination.
Mansour will be speaking on the escalating genocidal terror waged by the U.S.-backed Israeli government against Palestinians in the West Bank, where over 60 Palestinian people have been killed in the past two months alone.
Other panelists who will address the topic of the rising resistance of colonized peoples to colonial state repression and violence will include Chairman Omali Yeshitela, founder and leader of the Uhuru Movement, Luwezi Kinshasa, Secretary General of the African Socialist International who was born in Congo and lives in exile in the UK, and Penny Hess, Chair of the African People’s Solidarity Committee.
The conference will build support from the white community for the “Hands Off Uhuru! Hands Off Africa” Campaign, opposing the U.S. government’s attacks on the African People’s Socialist Party and the Uhuru Movement. On July 29th of last year the FBI militarily raided seven homes and offices of the Uhuru Movement, including its leader Chairman Omali Yeshitela.
