Answer the Call! Come to the “White Solidarity With Black Power” USM National Convention April 1st and 2nd!

Register for the USM National Convention, “White Solidarity with Black Power” on April 1-2 in St. Petersburg, Florida.

We are living in times of crisis, struggle and resistance. This is a call for white people to get on the right side of history by joining in solidarity with Black Power and organizing for white reparations to African people.

The righteous struggles of Africans in the U.S. and around the world and other colonized peoples fighting for liberation, self-determination, and access to their own resources have challenged the basis of a parasitic capitalist economy born of slavery and genocide.

We of the white working and middle class now no longer have the same access to the wealth and security we are used to, having benefited for 600 years from the US and Europe’s theft of resources from African and other colonized peoples. Our rates of depression, drug and alcohol addiction, and suicide are on the rise.

We have no lasting solutions within this system to the problems, exploitation, and even oppression we ourselves face because this system is the cause. We as white people have no viable future in this violent and dying system, but we do have a future in solidarity with African liberation.

The African People’s Socialist Party (APSP), under the leadership of Chairman Omali Yeshitela, is a revolutionary political party of the African working class for African liberation and self-determination and is leading the anti-colonialist movement.

APSP is only growing in numbers and strength in this period and it works to permanently overturn the system that is daily gunning down, torturing, imprisoning, and otherwise attacking African men, women, and children. The Party is building dual, contending, and independent political and economic power for the African working class to govern, house, clothe, feed, and educate themselves.

Formed by and as a strategic front of the Party to work behind enemy lines and return the resources stolen from Africans and hoarded in the white community, the Uhuru Solidarity Movement (USM) is the only organization of white people that is formed by and working under the leadership of the African working class.

“Uhuru” is the Swahili word for “freedom.” We organize in the white community to raise reparations to African people and win our fellow white people to solidarity with African liberation, and end our own self-imposed isolation and pain.

As Chairman Omali Yeshitela of the African People’s Socialist Party (APSP) has stated, our pain as white people is “…pain [that is] born of the very nature of a social system built and sustained by the pain of slavery, colonialism and genocide committed against the majority population of the world.” It is this same system that we are a part of that is inherently responsible for our pain as white workers, white veterans, white women, white LGBTQ people, white disabled people, white Jewish people, etc. It is white power that is driving us into depression and self-harm.

To find and forge our own future and permanently overturn the cause of our own suffering, we white people must turn against our own ruling class and join this revolutionary organization to take a stand in solidarity with African people against white power, pay reparations and help to permanently overturn this system.

We must reject the white ruling class attempts of offering short-term solutions to our pain, which comes at the expense of African people. We will not be their lynch mob, their cannon fodder, their soldiers, their cops or their silent lackeys.

Many of us white people are answering the call to get on the right side of history, mobilizing from across the country to the City of African Resistance for the Uhuru Solidarity Movement “White Solidarity with Black Power!” national convention this April 1st and 2nd in St. Petersburg, Florida.

From 9:30am-6:30pm both Saturday and Sunday will be workshops, panels, and presentations on how to build the reparations cultural revolution and raise resources in your town for reparations to African people.

Speakers will include Chairman Omali Yeshitela of the African People’s Socialist Party and Penny Hess, Chairwoman of the African People’s Solidarity Committee. You can learn how to hold a Day in Solidarity with African People event, bringing Chairman Omali Yeshitela to speak in your town. We will hold workshops on how to take action to target the white ruling class for reparations to Black Star Industries, the economic wing of the African People’s Socialist Party.

There will be a panel presentation and discussion on marginalized sectors of the white community, with representatives from the white disabled, LGBT, Jewish, and veterans sectors speaking on why it’s in our deepest interest to organize in solidarity with Black Power.

You will also hear Eritha “Akile” Cainon and Jesse Nevel, two candidates who are running for public office for city council and mayor, respectively, in the city of St Petersburg, FL on a revolutionary platform of self-determination, economic justice and reparations, and black community control of the police.

Register today for this historic convention!
